When I visited Osaka Expo, the Italian Pavilion was hosting “GIFT – A GESTURE OF RETURN,” an art installation and performance by artist Gandolfo Gabriele David. The theme of this exhibition was “Gifts”. At the venue, I was given one of the objects in the shape of a traditional Sicilian ceremonial bread. In return, I was supposed to put a piece of paper with my wish on the wall of the venue. But I did not do that. So here is my wish, “May the world be at peace.”
