The other day, I flew from Tokyo to Fukuoka on the low-cost carrier Peach. This cute candy was handed out on the outbound flight. According to comments on social media, it’s actually given to passengers when flights are delayed! Sure, our flight that day departed about an hour late because they had to unload luggage from a passenger who canceled at the last minute…… ［Japanese］ 先日、東京から福岡へ行く際に、LCCのPeachを利用しました。往路の機内で配られたこのキュートなキャンディ。実はSNSのコメントによると飛行機が遅延した時に乗客に配られるのだとか！　確かにこの日は、直前にキャンセルした乗客の荷物を下ろすためという理由で約1時間遅れて出発しました。ちなみに、復路の便は飛ばずに、他の便への振替も満席で不可能……やむを得ず、福岡から東京まで新幹線で5時間近くかけて移動しました。仕方がないですね、LCCですから、と思うことにします。
