I picked up two books at “Books Kubrick Keyaki Street,” an independent bookstore in Fukuoka. One of them is this one. It’s essays written by Daisuke Hayasaka, the owner of “BOOKNERD,” a bookstore in Morioka, Iwate Prefecture about local coffee shops. Since I love coffee, I always pick up any book with the word “coffee” in the title. This book contains a story about San Francisco, where I used to live, and I decided to buy it right away. ［Japanese］ 福岡市内にある独立系書店「ブックスキューブリックけやき通り店」で本を2冊手に入れました。そのうちの1冊がこちら。岩手県・盛岡にある書店「BOOKNERD」店主、早坂大輔さんが地元の喫茶店+αについて書き下ろしたエッセイ集です。コーヒーラバーゆえ、タイトルに〝コーヒー〟という文字が入っている本を見つけると必ず手に取りますが、この本には、以前住んでいたサンフランシスコの街の話が記されていて、その描写がすてきで、購入を即決しました。
